Providing high quality private tuition both face to face and online, I teach all vocal genres including classical, musical theatre, jazz and pop. I also teach the ABRSM music theory syllabus and my lessons are available for all ages and abilities.

I am passionate about unlocking each student’s unique vocal potential. I believe in building a strong technical foundation which will enable my students to sing in many different styles and become confident, versatile musicians. As a teacher, I think it is important to nurture young voices and to encourage individual musicality, instilling a passion for music to last a lifetime.

My lessons are tailored to each individual whether you wish to learn purely for fun or are interested in working towards exams, preparing for auditions or aiming for a career in music. I am knowledgeable in all the major singing exam syllabuses and am very proud to currently have a 100% pass rate for my students.

I discovered my love for teaching during my undergraduate music degree at the University of Southampton when I was musical director of their pop and gospel choir, Jazzmanix 2012-13.

After graduating in 2013 I moved to Birmingham to further my performing and teaching career by undertaking a Master’s degree in Performance and Pedagogy at Birmingham Conservatoire. During this time, I began teaching at Birmingham Music School where I trained as a Yamaha Vocal Instructor. Since completing my Master's, I was able to continue building my teaching career with Beatbox Studio in Rugby as well as a number of schools in the West Midlands.

I am now based in North Somerset and have a busy and varied teaching week including private lessons, school visits and choir rehearsals.

I am the Musical Director for The Bleadon Belles, a fun and inclusive choir for members of Bleadon WI. We enjoy performing for local groups and care homes, and have 2 main concerts each year at Christmas and in the Spring, often collaborating with other musical groups in North Somerset.

I am also the visiting vocal tutor at Churchill Academy and am one of the vocal tutors at Music Makers Academy, specialising in classical and musical theatre tuition.
